During the summer, the water temperature in the Black Sea near Odesa typically ranges from 22°C to 26°C (72°F to 79°F), making it perfect for swimming, water sports, and other recreational activities. The warm sea temperatures draw both locals and tourists to the region's beaches, which are well-known for their summer resorts and vibrant coastal life.
As the weather cools in the spring and autumn, the water temperature in the Black Sea drops to around 14°C to 18°C (57°F to 64°F), which still allows for some activities such as fishing and boating, but swimming becomes less popular. In winter, the sea temperature drops further to about 5°C to 7°C (41°F to 45°F), making swimming unfeasible, but the milder winter temperatures provide an opportunity for other outdoor activities along the coast.
