*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

The Kodyma River, flowing through the southwestern Ukraine, is a smaller river with moderate depth and flow rate. In summer months — especially mid-June through August — surface water temperatures probably reach around 20-24 °C in calm, shallow areas near the bank. In deeper or faster parts of the river, or after recent rains, temperatures tend to be somewhat cooler. Outside summer, in late spring or early autumn, water likely cools to around 15-18 °C, depending on air temperature, shading, and rainfall.
Swimming in the Kodyma is possible and often enjoyed by locals, particularly in gentle stretches where depth is manageable and current is not too strong. The river has spots with gradual, sandy or pebbly banks that make entry easier. However, water clarity and quality can vary. After heavy rains water may be muddier, and in places near agricultural or settlement runoff there could be concerns about pollution. Also, in cooler periods the water feels quite chilly and long swims are less comfortable.
