*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
Undu Bay (Estonian: Undu laht) is a small coastal bay whose water temperatures follow the seasonal pattern typical for northern Baltic coastal waters. In winter the surface temperature is near freezing, often around 0 °C (32 °F) and frequently ice-covered; in spring it rises from about 1–10 °C (34–50 °F) as thaw and warming proceed. By summer, July and August, surface temperatures commonly reach 15–20 °C (59–68 °F), occasionally a little warmer during heat spells. In autumn the bay cools again to roughly 5–15 °C (41–59 °F) as air temperatures drop and mixing increases.
Swimming in Undu Bay is generally possible and commonly done in the ice-free months because summer temperatures are within a comfortable range for recreational bathing and public shoreline access exists. Local conditions such as wind, waves, water quality and occasional algal growth can affect safety and enjoyment, and there are typically no permanent lifeguard stations at smaller bays, so swimmers should exercise normal precautions. In winter open-water swimming is unsafe except in supervised, organised ice-swimming events, because ice cover, very cold water and hypothermia risk make casual winter bathing hazardous.
