Oblačina Lake, located near Merošina in southern Serbia, is a small artificial lake surrounded by gentle hills, orchards, and forests. It lies in an area with a moderate continental climate, which influences its water temperature throughout the year. In spring, the water warms to about 12–17 °C, while in summer it reaches between 22 and 26 °C, sometimes up to 27 °C during heatwaves. In autumn, temperatures drop to 15–19 °C, and in winter they often fall below 5 °C, with partial freezing in the coldest months. The shallow depth of the lake allows quick warming in summer, making it comfortable for recreation.
Swimming in Oblačina Lake is officially allowed and very popular among locals and tourists. The lake has organized swimming areas and recreational facilities, with clean water suitable for bathing during the summer season.
