Nyzhnye Ozero (Lower Lake) near the village of Kruhlyk in Kyiv Oblast, close to Vita-Poshtova, is a paid recreational area used for both fishing and swimming. Due to its relatively shallow average depth (about 1.2 meters, maximum up to 3 meters), the water in the lake warms up quickly during the summer. The swimming season here starts when stable warm weather sets in; in the peak of summer, in July and August, the water temperature can certainly reach the optimal values for comfortable, prolonged swimming—from +22 to +24∘C.
Despite being promoted as a leisure spot, Nyzhnye Ozero is more heavily focused on fishing, as evidenced by some silting on the bottom and less gentle shores compared to the adjacent Upper Lake. Nevertheless, swimming opportunities are available: the area likely includes prepared sections for beach recreation. Since entry to the lake territory is paid, this helps maintain a certain level of cleanliness and order, although it is worth noting that the water in Nyzhnye Ozero may be slightly murky.
