*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
The Korchahin Park recreation area in the village of Zabirya near Boyarka is situated by a natural water body that is popular for summer leisure. Being a part of a small aquatic feature, its water warms up well during the warm season, especially in July and August. The water temperature here can be expected to reach comfortable swimming values, ranging from +22 to +24∘C during the peak summer heat, which aligns with the minimum permissible and optimal standards for prolonged time in the water.
However, despite the potentially comfortable temperature, it is important to know that swimming in the Korchahin Park reservoir is regularly prohibited by local authorities. Sanitary and microbiological tests conducted throughout the season often indicate that the water quality does not meet regulatory standards. Exceeding the permissible concentrations of total iron, high values of biochemical oxygen demand (BOD5), and, notably, an elevated index of lactose-fermenting E. coli (LCP) make swimming unsafe for health.
Thus, although Korchahin Park is a place for outdoor recreation, its water body cannot be used by the public for recreational swimming due to bacteriological contamination and other chemical indicators. Swimming here is considered strictly prohibited, and visitors should limit themselves to shore-based leisure, picnics, and using the beach infrastructure while avoiding direct contact with the water.
