*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
The lake in the village of Khodosivka (Khodosivka Lake), often known as King's Lake (Ozero Korol), is a popular, albeit small, paid recreation area in Kyiv Oblast. Due to its location and relatively moderate depth (average about 1.5 meters, maximum up to 4 meters), the water in the lake warms up quickly during the summer months. In the peak swimming season, which falls in July and August, the water temperature typically reaches ideal values for comfortable, prolonged swimming—from +22 to +24∘C, making it an attractive spot for family recreation.
Swimming opportunities at Khodosivka Lake are quite well-organized, despite its unofficial resort status. The beach area, although small, is generally well-maintained, with clean sand and a comfortable, gentle entry into the water, which is considered safe for children. The fact that entry to the lake territory is paid helps ensure a certain level of order and cleanliness. However, as with most private or non-municipal water bodies, visitors should remember that regular sanitary water control and the presence of professional lifeguard services may not be at the same level as at official city beaches.
