The lake in the village of Khodosivka (Khodosivka Lake), often known as King's Lake (Ozero Korol), is a popular, albeit small, paid recreation area in Kyiv Oblast. Due to its location and relatively moderate depth (average about 1.5 meters, maximum up to 4 meters), the water in the lake warms up quickly during the summer months. In the peak swimming season, which falls in July and August, the water temperature typically reaches ideal values for comfortable, prolonged swimming—from +22 to +24∘C, making it an attractive spot for family recreation.
Swimming opportunities at Khodosivka Lake are quite well-organized, despite its unofficial resort status.
