*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
Lake Beloslav (Белославско езеро) is a shallow, brackish lagoon near Varna that tends to warm and cool more quickly than the open Black Sea. Typical seasonal surface temperatures are roughly: winter about 2–8 °C (36–46 °F), spring about 8–16 °C (46–61 °F), summer commonly 20–28 °C (68–82 °F) with peak warm periods producing the highest readings, and autumn around 12–18 °C (54–64 °F). Because the lake is relatively shallow and connected to both the sea and man-made channels, temperatures can vary locally and with weather, tidal exchange and freshwater inputs, so exact figures depend on specific conditions and time of day.
Swimming is not organized around official public beaches at Lake Beloslav, and opportunities are therefore informal. Bathing does occur locally, especially in warm summer months when surface temperatures are most comfortable, but it is often discouraged or limited by practical factors: variable water quality affected by urban and industrial runoff, possible algal growth in warm periods, and vessel traffic in the channels. There are few lifeguarded or maintained bathing areas, so for safety and health it is advisable to consult local water-quality information and heed any posted restrictions before entering the water.
