*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
Arkutino Lake (Езеро Аркутино) is a shallow coastal lagoon in a protected reserve on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. Because it is relatively shallow and surrounded by marshes and reeds, seasonal surface temperatures vary noticeably. Typical winter temperatures range roughly 2–8 °C (36–46 °F), spring waters warm to about 8–15 °C (46–59 °F), summer surface readings commonly sit between 18–26 °C (64–79 °F) with occasional brief peaks toward 28 °C (82 °F) on hot, calm days, and autumn cooling is usually in the 10–18 °C (50–64 °F) band. Local conditions such as depth, shade from vegetation and influx of groundwater or sea water can make actual temperatures at specific spots a few degrees different.
Swimming at Arkutino is not promoted in the same way as nearby sandy beaches. The lake lies inside a nature reserve with the primary purpose of protecting sensitive habitats and species, so access and recreational use may be limited or discouraged by authorities; water quality, dense vegetation, soft peat bottoms and the absence of lifeguards also reduce its suitability for casual bathing. Visitors who consider entering the water should check local signage and regulations and favor designated seaside swimming areas if they want safer, more comfortable conditions.
