Ivanivskyy Quarry Lake in Vinnytsia Oblast is a former stone quarry that has gradually filled with clear groundwater, forming a deep and scenic artificial lake. The water here is known for its purity and striking bluish tint, typical of quarry lakes with mineral-rich bottoms. Due to its depth, the lake warms up more slowly than nearby rivers or ponds — in early summer, the water temperature often stays around 18–20°C, reaching 22–24°C only by mid-July and August. The surface layer can feel pleasantly warm, while the deeper parts remain cool even on the hottest days.
Swimming in Ivanivskyy Quarry Lake is quite popular among locals, especially during weekends. The shores are partly rocky but have a few comfortable entry spots for swimmers. The water is generally clean and calm, making it suitable for bathing, diving, or simply cooling off on hot days.
