*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
Pariguz Lake (Jezero Pariguz) is a small, artificial lake located near the Belgrade suburb of Rakovica, primarily created for drainage and retention purposes. Despite its lack of formal infrastructure and official designation as a public beach, it is a local recreational area, and swimming is generally allowed and practiced by local residents, particularly during the hot summer season. Visitors should note that swimming is unsupervised and done at their own risk, as there are no lifeguard services or officially monitored swimming zones.
Due to its relatively small size and moderate depth, Pariguz Lake’s water temperature fluctuates seasonally. In the winter months, from approximately December to March, the water is cold, typically ranging from 2∘C to 6∘C, with the possibility of freezing. The water is most welcoming in the summer, generally in July and August, when the surface temperature can rise to a pleasant range. The maximum temperature is often cited as not exceeding 20∘C to 22∘C, making it cooler than some larger bodies of water, but still very refreshing for swimming.
