Peruća Lake in Croatia is an artificial reservoir on the Cetina River, surrounded by mountains and rolling landscapes. Because of its size and depth, the water warms more slowly in spring, but during summer it reaches pleasant swimming temperatures, usually between 22–25°C in July and August. In comparison to the colder Cetina River, the lake feels much warmer and more comfortable for longer swims.
