Prokuplje, a town in southern Serbia, lies along the Toplica River, which flows through a valley surrounded by gentle hills and fertile land. The river’s water temperature changes significantly with the seasons due to the continental climate of the region. In spring, the Toplica usually has temperatures between 10 and 15 °C, while in summer it warms up to 20–25 °C in shallower and slower sections.
