** Average - Average water temperature on this day in recent years
*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

The Seret flows from the highlands through forested and rural terrain in its upper reaches, then descends through plateau zones and finally joins the Dniester. In its upper and middle parts water tends to stay pretty cool except during the warmest summer months. Usually during summer, in more slowly flowing stretches, shallow bends, and where the river broadens, water might warm up into the upper teens °C — maybe around 18-22°C on hot days. In contrast, in quicker, more shaded or elevated sections, even mid-summer water can remain below ~15-16°C.
Swimming in the Seret is possible, especially in favorable spots: gentle banks, wider meanders, places where current is mild. These are better suited to more casual cooling off rather than long swims. However, potential hazards include fast currents, variable depth, possibly colder water shock especially entering suddenly in cooler parts. Also water quality matters: after heavy rain there might be runoff, sediment, and in some populated areas pollution.
