*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
In Storozhynets, the Seret River is still relatively small and flows with a lively current through a mostly natural landscape. The water here stays cool for much of the year, as the river is fed by streams from the surrounding hills. In spring, the temperature rarely exceeds 10-12°C, while in summer it gradually warms to around 18-21°C, depending on the weather. This makes swimming possible mainly during the hottest months of July and August, when the water becomes more refreshing than cold.
Local residents sometimes use calm stretches of the Seret near Storozhynets for bathing, especially in shallow areas with easy access to the riverbank. However, the river is not very wide here, and its current can be stronger after rains, so swimming is more suited for short dips rather than long swims. For many people in the town, the Seret is more a place for relaxation by the water, fishing, or cooling off briefly on a hot summer day.
