*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

The Zbruch River in western Ukraine flows through the Podolian Upland, a region with mixed terrain — частично холмистые участки, леса и поля. Because of this, Zbruch tends to have relatively cool water for much of the year. During summer months (July-August), shallow, sunlit sections near the banks in calm bends might warm to around 21-24 °C on hot days. In deeper pools, shaded areas, or where the current is stronger, the water likely remains cooler — closer to 17-20 °C. Early in summer and after periods of rain the water temperature drops and can feel quite chilly.
Swimming is possible in Zbruch in suitable locations — gentle banks, slow current, accessible entry points, and open sunny stretches. Local people may use these spots for cooling off, wading, or casual swimming. However, as with many rivers, several cautions apply: the bottom may be uneven, submerged obstacles or plants may be present, clarity of water could drop after rains or runoff, and the current in some parts may be stronger. So, safe swimming is best done in familiar, well-known spots.
