*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
The Zolota Lypa River, flowing through the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, is a typical river of the Podolian Upland, which has a calmer character than the mountain rivers of the Carpathians, but its water temperature still depends on the regional climate. During the summer months, from June to August, the water in Zolota Lypa warms up significantly better than in fast mountain streams. At the peak of summer in July, the surface layers of the water can reach a comfortable 21−24∘C for swimming, although the temperature may temporarily drop after heavy rains or cold spells. Overall, the river provides pleasant conditions for cooling down on hot days.
The swimming opportunities on the Zolota Lypa River within the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast are quite accessible, although they are mostly natural in character. Along the river, one can find spots with a slower current, small backwaters, and areas with a gentle sandy or grassy bank, where locals set up informal beaches. Thanks to the moderate current and relatively warm water, the river is suitable for family recreation and swimming, but as always on a river, safety rules must be observed. The best and warmest conditions for water activities are undoubtedly found in mid-summer.
