The Kadina River flows through the central part of North Macedonia, joining the Vardar River near Skopje. It originates in the Jakupica mountain range, which gives it a clear and cool character throughout the year. In winter, the water temperature is usually between 2 and 5 °C, while in summer it warms up to 18–22 °C, depending on the weather and altitude. The river’s flow varies seasonally, with stronger currents during spring snowmelt and lower levels in late summer.
