*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

The Jablanica River flows through southern Serbia, mainly in the area around the town of Medveđa, and is a tributary of the South Morava. It runs through a hilly and partially mountainous landscape, which gives it clear but relatively cool water for most of the year. In spring, the temperature ranges between 9 and 14 °C, while in summer it usually reaches 18–23 °C, depending on the depth and flow. In autumn, the river cools to around 12–17 °C, and in winter it often falls below 4 °C, with occasional freezing along the shallower sections. The river’s temperature reflects the influence of nearby mountain streams and moderate rainfall.
Swimming in the Jablanica River is possible in summer, especially in July and August, when the water becomes warmer and calmer. Locals often bathe or cool off in shallow, clean areas near villages, although there are no officially organized swimming spots. Because the current can be stronger after rain and the bottom uneven in places, caution is advised. The Jablanica is better known for fishing and its natural beauty than for bathing, but it remains an inviting place for relaxation and contact with nature during warm weather.
