*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
Ver is a small lake in Kalmar County, Sweden, and like many lakes in the region its water temperature varies markedly through the year. In winter the surface typically hovers around 0–4 °C (32–39 °F) and can freeze over in cold spells. Spring temperatures rise from about 2–12 °C (36–54 °F) as snowmelt and seasonal warming affect the shallows first. Peak summer warmth is usually reached in July and August, when surface readings commonly lie between 15–22 °C (59–72 °F), although shallow, sheltered areas can occasionally warm to the mid-20s °C (mid-70s °F). In autumn the water cools again to roughly 6–14 °C (43–57 °F) as air temperatures fall and daylight shortens.
Swimming at Ver is generally permitted; Swedish access rights and local customs allow bathing in most lakes unless specific restrictions are posted. Opportunities for swimming are best in midsummer when temperatures are most comfortable, while spring and autumn waters are brisk and winter swimming requires ice safety precautions. Visitors should check local signage for any temporary bathing advisories tied to water quality, algal blooms or private property limits, be mindful of boat traffic and underwater hazards, and note that organized lifeguards are not typically present at small rural lakes.
