Lake Krön in Kalmar County typically follows the seasonal temperature patterns common to southern Swedish lakes. In winter the water often sits around 0–4 °C (32–39 °F) and can freeze over during cold periods. Spring temperatures climb to roughly 4–12 °C (39–54 °F) as ice breaks up and waters start to warm. During the warmest months of July and August surface temperatures commonly range from about 16–24 °C (61–75 °F), though shallow bays and sheltered inlets can reach slightly higher values while deeper parts remain cooler. In autumn the lake cools again to approximately 8–15 °C (46–59 °F). Local wind, depth and sunlight exposure all affect these figures, so conditions at a particular spot on Krön can vary.
