*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
Shystiv Lake is one of the smaller lakes in the Volyn Oblast, located within the Shatsk Lakes complex. Unlike tourist giants such as Svityaz or Pisochne, Shystiv is not as widely known, which affects its infrastructure and type of recreation. Due to its relatively small size, its water temperature in summer is quite comfortable. As a typical Polissia lake, it is not excessively deep, allowing the sun's rays to quickly warm the surface water layers. During the peak summer season, generally from July to August, the water temperature here reaches a pleasant +22 to +24∘C for swimming.
Regarding swimming opportunities, Shystiv Lake offers a more wild and secluded experience. Here, you will not find equipped, crowded beaches, developed infrastructure, or watercraft rentals. Its shores are largely natural and may be marshy or covered with riparian vegetation in places. Therefore, swimming here is suitable for those seeking solitude, tranquility, and connection with nature, rather than resort-style comfort.
Shystiv Lake is an ideal spot for enthusiasts of fishing, nature picnics, and quiet forest walks. The lack of mass tourism ensures high water clarity and the preservation of the natural environment. Swimming here is possible and enjoyable thanks to the warm water but requires a readiness for minimal infrastructure.
