*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
Lake Ozerce, located in the Volyn region of northwestern Ukraine, is a calm and charming freshwater lake surrounded by greenery and quiet countryside. It’s not very deep, so the water warms up quickly when the weather turns mild. By late spring, temperatures usually reach around 18–20°C, and during the warmest summer months — July and August — the lake can heat up to 23–25°C. This makes it an inviting place for swimming, especially on sunny, windless days when the surface water feels pleasantly warm. By mid-autumn, as nights get cooler, the temperature drops back below 15°C.
Swimming in Lake Ozerce is comfortable for people who enjoy natural, uncrowded locations. The lake has a gradual, sandy or slightly muddy bottom, which makes entering the water easy. The surrounding area is peaceful and ideal for picnics or quiet recreation. There are no strong currents or sudden depths, so the conditions are safe for families with children. In the height of summer, however, the shallow parts may warm up enough to encourage some algae growth, which slightly reduces water clarity but doesn’t affect the overall comfort of swimming.
