*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
Veisjärv is a modest Estonian lake whose water temperatures follow the seasonal rhythm typical for lowland lakes in the region. In winter the surface is often at or just below freezing while ice cover persists, so water temperatures run around 0–1 °C (32–34 °F). During spring warming the lake commonly ranges from about 2–10 °C (36–50 °F) as ice melts and the water stratifies. In summer the surface usually reaches roughly 15–22 °C (59–72 °F), with shallow bays sometimes warming a bit higher on hot spells toward 23–25 °C (73–77 °F). In autumn the lake cools again, generally falling into a 6–15 °C (43–59 °F) window as turnover sets in.
Swimming in Veisjärv is generally possible and popular in warm months because public access to shoreline areas is common and the water frequently attains comfortable temperatures for bathing. However, local rules, water-quality advisories or nature-protection restrictions can affect where and when swimming is appropriate, so swimmers should observe signage and local guidance. Winter ice swimming is practiced by some, but it requires safe, tested ice and suitable precautions. In short, summer offers the most pleasant conditions for ordinary recreational swimming, while spring and autumn are cooler and winter swimming is only for prepared enthusiasts.
