*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
Lake Parsvėtas (Lithuanian: Parsvėtas) is a typical inland Lithuanian lake whose surface temperatures follow the seasonal rhythm of the region. In winter the water usually sits close to freezing, around 0–2 °C (32–36 °F) beneath ice cover. Spring warming brings temperatures from roughly 2–12 °C (36–54 °F) as ice melts and the lake stratifies. The warmest period is summer, when surface values commonly reach 16–24 °C (61–75 °F) on sunny weeks and can feel comfortable for short swims; peak heat waves may push temperatures slightly higher. In autumn the lake cools again to roughly 6–14 °C (43–57 °F) as air temperatures fall and turnover begins.
Swimming in Lake Parsvėtas is generally possible and not formally prohibited, since most Lithuanian lakes are public water bodies. Whether it is advisable depends on current local conditions: water quality, presence of algae blooms or pollution after heavy rains, ice cover in winter, and the availability of supervised bathing areas. Lifeguards may not be present, so caution is recommended—entering only in appropriate temperatures, avoiding strong currents or sudden depth changes, and checking local signage or municipal information for temporary bans or advisories.
