*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
Lago Morto (Italian: Lago Morto) is a small, often shallow lake in the Veneto region whose water temperature reflects local seasonal patterns and its limited depth. In winter the surface typically cools to around 2–6 °C (36–43 °F), while spring brings a rise to roughly 8–15 °C (46–59 °F) as air temperatures warm. In summer the lake can warm substantially, commonly reaching 20–26 °C (68–79 °F) at the surface on sunny days, especially in sheltered, shallow areas. Autumn temperatures generally decline to about 10–18 °C (50–64 °F). Actual readings vary with recent weather, wind, shading, and depth, and deeper sections remain cooler than the surface.
Swimming opportunities depend on local rules and conditions rather than the water temperature alone. In warm months bathing is physically possible and can be pleasant when surface temperatures are in the low to mid‑20s °C (high 60s to upper 70s °F), but many parts of the lake are unsupervised and water quality can fluctuate; algal growth, vegetation and protected habitats may limit safe or legal access. Visitors should check municipal signage or local authorities before entering the water and respect any restrictions intended to protect public safety or the lake’s ecology.
