*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
Lake of Lases is a small alpine lake in Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol whose water temperatures reflect its mountain setting. Through winter the surface typically approaches freezing and can be ice-covered, roughly 0–4 °C (32–39 °F). In spring the meltwater keeps temperatures low, commonly in the 4–12 °C range (39–54 °F) as the season progresses. Peak warmth arrives in July and August when shallow, sunlit areas can reach about 12–22 °C (54–72 °F), though deeper spots remain noticeably cooler. By autumn the water cools again to roughly 4–10 °C (39–50 °F) as air temperatures drop.
Swimming in Lake of Lases is generally possible during the warmer months because it is a freshwater body with accessible shores, but it is not comparable to Mediterranean bathing in warmth or facilities. Many visitors do swim in summer, yet conditions are often brisk, and there are typically no lifeguards or developed beach services; colder temperatures, sudden weather changes and ecological protections may limit safe or permitted use at certain times. For these reasons swimmers should be cautious, acclimatize gradually, and observe any local signs or rules that protect wildlife or restrict access.
