*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
Lago di Toblino, a small lake in Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, typically shows marked seasonal variation in surface water temperature. In spring (March–May) the surface commonly ranges from about 6–15 °C (43–59 °F) as snowmelt and cool air keep temperatures low. In summer (June–August) the lake often warms to roughly 18–24 °C (64–75 °F), and during warm spells can approach 25 °C (77 °F) at the surface. Early autumn (September–October) temperatures decline to about 10–16 °C (50–61 °F), and in winter (November–February) the lake is usually very cold, around 0–4 °C (32–39 °F) and may approach freezing in particularly cold years. These values are approximate and can vary with weather, depth in chosen swimming spots, and time of day.
Swimming at Lago di Toblino is commonly practiced, especially in the warmest months when surface temperatures are most comfortable, and the lake’s relatively small size and sheltered character can make summer swims pleasant. Access is not uniform around the shore: some areas are public and used for bathing, while other stretches are private property or subject to local protections, so swimmers should follow posted signs and local rules. There are generally no formal lifeguard services, so usual precautions for open-water swimming apply.
