Lake Kočevje, also known as Rudniško jezero, is a small artificial lake in southern Slovenia, surrounded by forests and natural scenery. Its water is relatively shallow, which allows it to warm up during the summer months. Typically, from June to August, the surface temperature reaches 20–24°C, making it comfortable for swimming. In spring and autumn, the water is cooler, usually between 12–16°C, and in winter it can drop close to 4–6°C.
