*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
Innaren (in Swedish - Innaren) is a lake in Kronoberg County, Sweden, where water temperatures follow the typical seasonal pattern for southern Swedish inland waters. In spring the surface usually warms from near freezing to roughly 2–12 °C (36–54 °F) as ice breaks up and sunlight increases. During summer, pleasant swimming conditions most often occur, with surface temperatures commonly ranging from about 16–22 °C (61–72 °F) and occasionally reaching the mid‑20s °C (mid‑70s °F) on warm, calm days. In autumn the lake cools again to roughly 6–14 °C (43–57 °F) as air temperatures fall, and in winter the water is at or near 0–4 °C (32–39 °F) where open water remains or is covered by ice.
Swimming at Innaren is generally possible and frequently practiced in the warmer months because of public access to shoreline areas and the lake’s moderate summer temperatures. As with other Swedish lakes, local rules, water quality checks and safety conditions (depth, currents, underwater obstacles and ice cover) determine when and where it is appropriate to enter the water, and year‑round activities such as ice bathing are done only with proper precautions. Visitors should observe posted information and local advice before swimming.
