*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
Forssjösjön (in Swedish: Forssjösjön) is a typical Södermanland lake whose surface temperatures follow the region’s seasonal rhythm. In spring, after ice break-up, surface readings are often in the range of about 0–10 °C (32–50 °F) as the water slowly warms. Summer brings the warmest conditions and on sunny spells shallow bays can reach roughly 16–24 °C (61–75 °F), although deeper parts remain cooler. During autumn the water cools to approximately 6–15 °C (43–59 °F) as daylight shortens and mixing increases. In winter the lake commonly approaches freezing and may form ice cover; temperatures near or below 0 °C (32 °F) are typical until thaw.
Swimming in and around Forssjösjön is generally possible and commonly practiced during the warmer months because Swedish public waters are used for recreation and the lake does not have a widespread formal restriction. Access and bathing should respect private shoreline rights and any local signage or advisories. As with all natural lakes, water temperature varies with depth and weather, and swimmers should be aware of cold-water shock early or late in the season and of occasional water-quality issues such as algal blooms; checking local conditions before entering is recommended.
