Given the northern-Ukraine continental climate, in midsummer (July–August) shallow parts of Buzove Lake likely warm up to about 20–24 °C, making them quite comfortable for swimming on sunny days. Deeper zones would stay cooler, so swimmers may prefer прибрежные участки. Early in the season (late spring or early June) water temperatures might linger around 15–18 °C, which feels a bit chilly for prolonged swimming. By September, the water begins cooling again, so comfortable swimming window is mainly mid-summer. The lake could well serve for recreational bathing.
