*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

The Lašva River flows through central Bosnia and Herzegovina, passing towns such as Travnik and Vitez before joining the Bosna River near Zenica. It is a relatively small river with a moderate flow, influenced by both mountain streams and lowland conditions. The water temperature varies throughout the year, ranging from 2–5°C in winter to about 10–13°C in spring. During the summer months, particularly in July and August, the river warms to around 18–22°C in calmer sections. In autumn, it cools again to 10–15°C as air temperatures decrease.
Swimming in the Lašva is possible but not very common. The water is clear in its upper parts but can become less clean closer to urban areas. During summer, locals sometimes swim in rural stretches near Travnik or in smaller natural pools where the current is gentle. However, because of variable water quality and occasional pollution, swimming is generally recommended only in cleaner, upstream areas. The Lašva remains more suitable for short recreational bathing and relaxation than for extended swimming activities.
