The Cetina River in Croatia is known for its crystal-clear water and refreshing temperatures. Even in the warmest summer months, the water rarely gets warmer than 18–20°C, as it comes from springs and flows through mountainous terrain. This makes swimming in the Cetina very refreshing, especially on hot days, but also noticeably cooler compared to the Adriatic Sea or lowland rivers.
