*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
#Surrey
Wraysbury Reservoir, on the outskirts of Surrey in the Thames valley, tends to be cool year-round. Surface temperatures typically range from about 4–7 °C (39–45 °F) in winter, rising to roughly 6–12 °C (43–54 °F) in spring. By summer the water can warm to somewhere around 15–22 °C (59–72 °F), before dropping back to roughly 10–14 °C (50–57 °F) in autumn. Because it is a working reservoir supplying water and an operational body of water, open swimming is generally not permitted and is strongly discouraged for safety and legal reasons: there are hidden currents, variable depths, cold water shock risks, and water-quality protection measures that restrict unsupervised access.
Visitors who want outdoor recreation nearby will find several alternatives. The Runnymede meadows and historic memorials are a short drive away, Windsor and its parklands are close for sightseeing, and the Colne Valley regional park offers walking and cycling routes. The adjacent King George VI Reservoir and local rivers are also noted for birdwatching and angling rather than casual bathing.
