*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
Sirche Lake is located in Volyn, in the Kamin-Kashyrskyi district, and is a karst reservoir known for its natural purity. Compared to the more popular Shatsk Lakes, Sirche is quite deep (maximum depth up to 13 meters), and this factor affects its water temperature. In summer, during July and August, the surface water layers typically warm up to +17∘C and slightly above, but thanks to underground springs and its depth, the water remains noticeably cooler than in shallow lakes. In the bottom layers, the temperature is consistently low, around +4 to +6∘C.
Regarding swimming opportunities, Sirche Lake is used for recreation and amateur fishing. Its bottom is mostly sandy, and the water transparency reaches almost two meters, making it appealing for swimming. However, the shoreline, stretching over 7 km, is largely overgrown with reeds and sedges, which somewhat limits convenient water access around the entire perimeter. Comfortable swimming spots are likely located at those few points where the pine-oak forest extends directly to the water's edge.
Sirche Lake is part of a landscape nature reserve, which ensures the protection of its natural state. This means that a quieter, more wild type of recreation prevails here compared to resort areas. Swimming is entirely possible and refreshing, especially on hot days, but those accustomed to high water temperatures should consider its naturally cool character.
