Trostne Lake (also known as Trostiane) is located in Volyn near the village of Karasyn and is a popular recreational area. Due to its shallow nature—with a maximum depth of only 4 meters and an average of about 3.5 meters—it warms up quickly in the summer. Although precise annual data is unavailable, during the peak swimming season from July to August, the water temperature in Trostne is generally very comfortable for long swims, rising to +22 to +25∘C on hot days.
The swimming opportunities at Trostne Lake are well-developed, particularly on its western shore.
