Lyub’yazh Lake, located in the Volyn region of northwestern Ukraine, is a picturesque and relatively shallow body of water surrounded by pine forests and meadows. Because of its shallow depth, the lake warms up fairly quickly in late spring, often reaching 22–25°C (72–77°F) in summer. In early autumn, the water gradually cools to around 16–18°C (61–64°F), while in winter it can freeze completely. The warm, calm waters make it one of the more comfortable lakes in the region for swimming during the peak summer months.
Swimming in Lyub’yazh Lake is generally enjoyable, as the water is clean, the shorelines are sandy, and the entrance into the lake is gentle. The area around the lake has several small recreation spots and beaches that attract locals and visitors alike.
