Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Arimaičių swimming Lake: Water Temperature by Location
Location & Local Information
Arimaičių swimming lake typically follows the seasonal pattern of Lithuanian inland waters. After ice break in spring, surface temperatures gradually rise from around 4–12 °C (39–54 °F) in April–May. In the bathing season, June to August, the lake often reaches comfortable values between about 18–25 °C (64–77 °F), with the warmest weeks sometimes pushing slightly higher on sunny days. As autumn arrives in September–October the water cools back to roughly 8–15 °C (46–59 °F), and in winter the lake usually approaches freezing and may be ice-covered, near 0 °C (32 °F).
Swimming at Arimaičių beach is generally allowed and is a popular summertime activity because the site is a designated recreational area with shoreline access. Local authorities and environmental services commonly monitor water quality during the bathing season and will close or advise against swimming if contamination or unsafe conditions are detected, so access can be temporary. Visitors should also be mindful that lifeguards are not guaranteed at all times and that water temperature and weather affect safety and comfort; swimming is most suitable and widespread during the warm summer months when temperatures are in the range noted above.
