Location & Local Information
Zhovti Vody, located in the Dnipropetrovsk region of central Ukraine, is a city surrounded by small artificial reservoirs and ponds formed along local streams. During the warm season, especially from late May to early September, the water temperature in these ponds usually rises to around 22–26°C, making them comfortable for swimming on calm summer days. In particularly hot periods, when air temperatures exceed 30°C, the water in shallow areas can warm up even higher.
Although Zhovti Vody does not have large natural lakes or wide rivers, local residents often swim in the small quarry lakes and reservoirs on the outskirts of the city.
