*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

The Inhulets typically has quite cold water outside of summer months. For example, winter and early spring water temperatures are often around 4-10 °C, which is far from comfortable for swimming. In the summer months, the surface water in accessible spots can warm up to the low-20s Celsius (say, around 20-25 °C) depending on how shallow the stretch is, how much sun exposure it gets, and how stagnant or flowing the water is. Inhulets also shows typical annual highs in summer and much lower throughout autumn into winter.
In terms of swimming, some stretches of Inhulets are used informally by locals, especially in summer when the water is warm enough. However, there are significant concerns: water pollution (especially downstream near industrial zones and mining areas), high mineralization in some parts, and variability in water clarity.
Also, the riverbed is uneven in many places, there can be debris or muddy bottom, currents vary depending on season and rainfall. So while there are opportunities, anyone considering swimming in the Inhulets should check local water quality, pick a known safe spot (ideally used by others), and avoid after heavy rains or near discharges from industrial or mining operations.
