*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

The Inhul (Ingul) River in Ukraine is a tributary of the Southern Bug, flowing through central parts of the country including Kirovohrad Oblast. In summertime, under sustained sunny and warm weather, the upper, shallower parts of the river—especially near the banks—often warm to comfortable levels for swimming, typically in the low to mid-20s °C range. The surface or near-shore layers warm more quickly, while deeper channels, shaded stretches, or sections with stronger flow remain cooler, sometimes lingering in the high teens °C. Outside of midsummer, during spring or autumn, the river’s temperature often drops to 10–18 °C, making prolonged swimming less comfortable without adaptation.
As for swimming opportunities, people do use the Inhul for recreation when conditions allow. The best chances are in calm, shallow parts with gentle banks and limited current. But there are several caveats: water quality can vary depending on upstream activity, agricultural runoff, or recent rainfall; underwater terrain may be uneven with hidden rocks, sudden drop-offs, or submerged plants; and infrastructure (lifeguards, marked zones, safe entry/exit points) is often limited. So while the Inhul offers windows for enjoyable swims, especially in hot weather, it's important to assess local conditions, choose safe spots, and swim cautiously.
