Råstojaure, a lake in Norrbotten County (Swedish: Råstojaure), typically has cold water temperatures year-round because of its northern location and altitude. During winter the surface is usually ice-covered and water just beneath the ice hovers around 0–1 °C (32–34 °F). In spring, as ice melts, temperatures rise slowly to roughly 1–6 °C (34–43 °F).
