*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
Radonove Lake in Kirovohrad Oblast is an artificial (quarry-origin) body of water with relatively clear water and some reputation for having radon content. Because of its depth and quarry origin, in warm months the top layer of water may warm up to pleasant swimming temperatures in the low to mid 20-degrees Celsius, especially in shallow near-shore zones. However, deeper parts tend to stay cooler and likely retain lower temperatures even in height of summer due to limited circulation and shading from steep banks. Outside of summer, temperatures are probably much lower — comfortably for swimming only for short dips if at all.
As for swimming possibilities: people do go there to relax and swim. The transparency of the water and clean appearance often attract visitors. But there are cautions: radon content (though likely low), steep drop-offs, uncertain safety infrastructure (no guarantee of lifeguards or proper access). So even during warm weather, swimming should be approached with care: stay close to shore, avoid deep plunge areas if you don’t know the bottom, and limit time in water if it feels cold or if the weather isn’t fully warm.
