*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
The lake of Laguna del Salobrejo (Spanish: Laguna del Salobrejo) in Castilla–La Mancha is a relatively shallow inland lagoon whose water temperatures reflect the region’s continental climate and the body’s limited depth. Typical seasonal surface temperatures range from about 4–10 °C (39–50 °F) in winter, rising to roughly 10–16 °C (50–61 °F) in spring. In summer the lagoon can warm to approximately 20–28 °C (68–82 °F) on sunny days, while autumn usually brings intermediate values near 12–18 °C (54–64 °F). Because the water column is shallow, temperatures can change fairly quickly with air conditions, and salinity or mineral content can also influence perceived warmth.
Swimming at Laguna del Salobrejo is generally not encouraged as a routine recreational activity; many such natural lagoons are part of protected wetland systems or sensitive habitats for birds and aquatic species, and local regulations or signage often restrict bathing to protect wildlife and water quality. Even where bathing is not explicitly banned, water quality, aquatic vegetation, variable depths and occasional high salinity can make it less suitable than managed swimming areas. Visitors should respect any protection measures and check local information or authorities before considering entering the water.
