*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
Lago di Viverone (Italian: Lago di Viverone) is a relatively shallow, mid-sized lake in Piedmont whose water temperature varies substantially by season. In spring the surface typically ranges from about 8–16 °C (46–61 °F) as the lake slowly warms after winter. Summer brings the warmest conditions, with common temperatures between 20–26 °C (68–79 °F) during June to August and occasionally a bit higher on heatwave days. In autumn the water cools again to roughly 10–18 °C (50–64 °F), and in winter surface temperatures commonly fall to near freezing levels around 2–6 °C (36–43 °F), depending on air temperature and ice cover in cold winters.
Swimming is allowed in Lago di Viverone, particularly in designated lidos and public beaches managed by local authorities, because the lake is regularly monitored for bathing water quality and safety. The shallow, sheltered nature of the lake makes it attractive for recreational swimming in summer when temperatures are comfortable, but swimmers should stick to marked areas where lifeguards or safety measures are provided and avoid reed beds and protected wetlands. Seasonal algal blooms or sudden weather changes can affect conditions, so following local advisories and posted rules is recommended for a safe swimming experience.
