*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
Pulemetske Lake is the second largest of the Shatsk Lakes and is located near the village of Pulemets. It is a relatively deep water body with a maximum depth of up to 19.2 meters, which is one of the factors influencing its water temperature. Although the surface water layers in the shallow areas and near the shore warm up well during the summer, overall, Pulemetske may be slightly cooler compared to shallower lakes like Pisochne. Nevertheless, during the peak swimming season (July-August), the water temperature near the shores typically reaches a comfortable +20 to +22∘C for swimming.
Regarding swimming opportunities, Pulemetske Lake primarily offers a calm and tranquil experience. Unlike Svityaz or Pisochne, there is less tourist congestion here, and the infrastructure development is less intense. While spacious sections of sandy beach for sunbathing can be found near the village of Pulemets, most of the lake's coastline remains low, natural, and marshy in places, which somewhat limits the locations for convenient water entry.
Tourists who choose Pulemetske are mainly looking for seclusion, picturesque landscapes, and excellent fishing opportunities, as the lake is known for its diverse fish population. Although private manors and guesthouses offer accommodation and water access, Pulemetske is ideally suited for those who prefer a wild holiday and harmony with nature over noisy beach entertainment.
