*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
Pisochne Lake is considered one of the gems of the Shatsk National Nature Park and is arguably the second most popular lake after Svityaz. It has an average depth of about 7 meters and a maximum of up to 16 meters, but its name (Sandy) comes from its sandy shores and bottom, which makes it exceptionally attractive for recreation. The water in Pisochne Lake is renowned for its crystal clarity and transparency, often surpassing that of other lakes in the region. Due to this purity, sandy bottom, and its relatively smaller size, the water in summer warms up to a comfortable +22 to +24∘C in the surface layers, perfect for swimming.
The swimming opportunities at Pisochne Lake are excellent and well-developed. The shoreline here is gently sloping, with a soft sandy entry that is ideal for families with children. Several large recreational areas are located along the shore, including the famous Lisova Pisnya (Forest Song) sanatorium, as well as numerous private guesthouses and resorts. These facilities provide a full range of services, including equipped beaches, boat rentals, catamarans, and other water sports gear. There are also spots for wild camping and an equipped camping zone on the northwestern side.
Pisochne Lake is often chosen by those who seek clean water, comfortable infrastructure, and a sandy shore, but prefer to avoid the largest crowds typical of the central Svityaz beaches. It is an ideal location that combines quality recreation, the natural beauty of the surrounding pine forests, and excellent conditions for swimming.
