Location & Local Information
Hidropark in Kyiv is located on the islands of the Dnieper River, where several branches of the river create calm bays and sandy beaches. During the summer months, the water temperature here usually rises to comfortable levels — by mid-June it reaches around 22–24°C, and in July and August it can warm up to 25–26°C. The flow of the Dnieper in this area is moderate, and the wide riverbed helps maintain good water circulation, keeping the water fresh even in hot weather.
The park is one of the most popular swimming and recreation spots in Kyiv. There are several official beaches where lifeguards monitor the area, and the sand is regularly cleaned. On sunny weekends, locals and tourists come to swim, play beach games, or simply relax by the river. Despite being close to the city center, Hidropark retains a natural river atmosphere, offering easy access to clean water and plenty of places to cool off in the Dnieper during summer.
