*** Forecast - Our water temperature forecast
Actual nearshore water temperatures may fluctuate by several degrees from the reported values, especially following heavy rainfall or extended periods of strong winds. Certain wind patterns can cause colder, deeper waters to rise and replace the sun-warmed surface water, leading to noticeable variations.
Our forecast is based on a proprietary mathematical model that considers real-time water temperature changes, historical trends, key weather patterns, wind strength and direction, and air temperature specific to each region. Additionally, we incorporate data from other resorts to enhance accuracy.

Location & Local Information
Rojales (in Spanish — Rojales) is a municipality in the province of Alicante in the Valencian Community. The local lagoon and small lakes near Rojales are shallow and respond quickly to seasonal weather. Typical winter water temperatures in these shallow bodies range from about 10–15 °C (50–59 °F), rising through spring to roughly 14–20 °C (57–68 °F). In summer, surface temperatures commonly reach 22–28 °C (72–82 °F) and in very warm, calm periods can approach 30 °C (86 °F). Autumn sees a gradual cooling with temperatures usually between 18–24 °C (64–75 °F) depending on recent weather and rainfall.
Despite often comfortable summer surface temperatures, swimming in the lagoon areas around Rojales is generally discouraged or formally prohibited. Many of these wetlands are ecologically sensitive or protected, and local rules, signage and conservation measures restrict bathing to prevent disturbance, pollution and health risks related to variable water quality, high salinity in some spots and shallow, unpredictable depths. Where municipal or private facilities offer supervised swimming elsewhere in the municipality, those are safer choices; entering the unregulated lake margins is not recommended even when temperatures are warm.
